Despite the Chrysler being seen as to end the production due to financial crisis, the chief executive announced redesigns of the 2012 Viper. He not only announced but also showed the redesign on 14 September, this year.

What is the Dodge Viper’s history?

Dodge Viper began as a result of some brief discussion between its chief of design - Tom Gale and the president who is Robert A. Lutz. This was back in February 1988. The chief of design gives information of how he was walking down the hall when the president called him in the office, where they had a 5minutes discussion. He still remembers it like just like yesterday. He continues to stay that he is thinking of more and more on how to kick off in doing a project, since that was their intentions from the beginning.

What Lutz’s mind thought was manufacturing a sports car which would have a management system of a modern engine, suspension designs that are computer aided, world-class tires and new think-transmission. Then later the viper would then take advantage of modern use of technology. However, according to him, the Dodge viper was not to be gadget-laden, anti-lock brakes, damping adjustable shock absorber, all wheel drive and bristling wonder of high tech. instead the Dodge viper was to take an approach of pure mechanics where very heavy load would be fed into simple rear drive.
